Millions of people who can’t access the power of technology are being left behind—excluded from a world of opportunity. In order to address this divide, Hewlett Packard Enterprise has launched the Living Progress Challenge. HPE is inviting the global community to bring forward great ideas and proposed solutions that answer the question: What software applications and digital services would you create to improve people’s lives?
The Challenge combines the power of crowdsourcing, HPE IT expertise and leading edge technology. Open to the global community, there’s a way for everyone to contribute:
Between December 1 and February 12, innovative software application and digital service ideas are being accepted. All community members can show support by up-voting their favorite ideas. Individuals with strong backgrounds in healthcare, education, FinTech, and more, can support and strengthen the idea through valuable comments and questions.
From January 1 through March 11, participants will be able to leverage the insights of the crowd to develop their idea concepts into detailed proposals.
All ideas will be evaluated by HPE experts, and winning proposals will have the chance to be developed into fully functional solutions—designed, built and deployed with the assistance of Hewlett Packard Enterprise.
The goal is to improve the lives of 1 million people by 2020.
