In November 2015, Hewlett Packard Enterprise partnered with IdeaScale and Appirio to launch the Living Progress Challenge which asked the global community: What software applications and digital services would you create to improve people’s lives? HPE received hundreds of concepts. The four visionary solutions chosen as winners will be built and deployed with the assistance of HPE technology and expertise. In this session, Rachel Lichte (Hewlett Packard Enterprise) and John Ortiz (Appirio/Topcoder) will share how the program came to be, lessons learned along the way, and their takeaways for crowdsourcing for social impact.
