The genesis of this panel was a set of discussions I had with two colleagues- Vivek Bhaskaran of Ideascale and Manish Godha of Advaiya Solutions.  We started thinking about innovation being led from both within and without and realized that, perhaps ironically, there are ways to “manage” for innovation that are better than a random walk down tech street. This panel is geared towards helping CIOs simultaneously “keep the lights on in a better way” and invent new things to change the business.
