Using IdeaScale’s crowdsourcing platform, the directorate is seeking feedback in four areas including non invasive screening of people, baggage and cargo using “unobtrusive” technologies and better processes to seamlessly detect threats without invading a person’s privacy or disrupting travel or commerce, development of resilient and secure cyber infrastructure that is “self-detecting, self-protecting and self-healing,” better situational awareness for decision makers through timely, accurate and context-based information using new modeling and simulation systems, and equipping emergency responders with better physical protections, interoperable, networked tools, technology-enhanced threat detection and mitigation capabilities and timely information.
