IdeaScale can be configured to prevent community members from submitting text with specific words. Comments or ideas with offensive language are placed in a moderation queue for censoring or deletion.
When community members show interest in a particular idea by voting or commenting, IdeaScale invites that member to comment on other ideas that similar users found interesting.
With the assessment tool, not only can community members vote ideas and comments up and down, but they can also evaluate that content across a number of different criteria in custom fields that are defined by system administrators. This tool supports the idea lifecycle model of collect, select, assess, and deliberate.
Moderators are responsible for the management of a community; the overseeing of user’s membership as well as the changing of status of ideas (from In Review to In Process to Complete).
