IdeaScale has a variety of features designed to accommodate any size organization.
Administrators are the super users of the account. They assign Moderators and determine the community’s moderation level. Admins also have sole rights to modify the global settings of the community.
Campaigns make navigating your IdeaScale community even easier. Manually create or upload campaigns to organize your ideas into groups. Additionally, sub-campaigns can be added to tier your community's ideas.
Users can submit file attachments directly to idea submissions. The uploaded files--even multi-page PDFs--render inline and can even expand to fullscreen mode. Thumbnails appear in the idea overview page to let end users know there’s something to look at.
Moderators are responsible for the management of a community; the overseeing of user’s membership as well as the changing of status of ideas (from In Review to In Process to Complete).
IdeaScale can be configured to prevent community members from submitting text with specific words. Comments or ideas with offensive language are placed in a moderation queue for censoring or deletion.
Another way to navigate your ideas is with tags. Tagging ideas lets the end user segment and associate the ideas into relevant groups. Tags can be very easily edited by the Moderator.
At all license levels, users, ideas and comments are unlimited. Unlike our competition, IdeaScale won’t penalize you for the success of your community. No volume based pricing!
