- What is BadgeFarm?
- IdeaScale provides an easy way for your organization to leverage gamification to reward and increase user participation in all of your communities. With the gamification platform, users accrue experience based on their activity within your community and are awarded badges and rewards according to the amount of experience they earn performing tasks at the workplace. Honoring badge winners within your organization is up to you, but most often, members will be motivated by the badge alone.
- Is there an option for Custom Badges?
- IdeaScale custom badges are available to our Enterprise customers. Upon request, we will work with you to create unique badges for your community.
- Can I change the look and feel of the Badges?
- Our creative design team has constructed badge sets that convey meaning at-a-glance. Your community members, moderators, admins, and analysts will quickly learn the colors, shapes, & symbols, benefiting from our ever-expanding collection of badges. While we do not allow customers to change the look and feel of our badges, we do provide a custom badge option available to our BadgeFarm Enterprise customers.
- How can I launch badges on my IdeaScale community?
- Turning on our badge offering for IdeaScale is very easy. Simply contact our sales team.
- How much does it cost to enable badges?
- Badge integration cost varies across our different customer packages - including Annual, Enterprise, and Government. To get a quote for your community contact our sales team.
- How do badges get the "99% Users" back on IdeaScale?
- Our badge offering incorporates an email system that will automates email corresponspondence to your community members notifying them of their achievements, rewards, and when their peers have out-ranked them within the community leaderboard. This encourages them to return to the community and compete to maintain their standing.
- Once enabled - can I disable badges in my community?
- The badge solution can be turned on and off at your convenience. In IdeaScale communities, we provide you with a ‘switch’ to activate the gamification system.
- Can I pilot badges in my community before purchasing it?
- Yes. IdeaScale customers are given the option to turn on badge gamification for a short trial period.
- What are the badges and how did you come up with them?
- Our creative design team and industry research set out to create badges that encourage the most desirable behaviors in community members, including influence, organization, engagement, virality, and others. In addition, we provide your community with ‘scarce’ badges and ‘experience’ badges to foster competition, but also to award members for their contributions at any level.
