I had a commuter parking pass last spring + summer and enjoyed the luxury, always knew where to park, saved me nearly 20 minutes vs taking the bus. Bought the same pass, can never park over by McComas Gym any time between 9am and 5pm, there are always lines of cars stalking people because there are no spots. On top of that, they just closed the lot this week, so now there's a huge line just to get into the parking garage. And...I just got my 3rd parking ticket 3 hours ago even though I have 5 years of parking experience here. Stupid ambiguous + poorly marked carpool spots did me in on perry st. D2 is only open till 7 and West End and Owens close at 8. Most people I know don't eat until 7:30 or 8, and if it's a late night you might want to eat later! At most other colleges in Virginia, their dining halls stay open much later. DX is only open until 2am, and if you're up studying late or come back late on the weekends and you're hungry for something, there's no place to eat! A lot of colleges have at least one 24/7 dining center, or their "late night" place is open until 3 or 4.
