Effects for mouse clicks

Effects for Mouse clicks. Currently when I set the radar effect it appears with every mouse click. When making a screencast for a client I had to fill out an online form. Everytime I clicked in the new field the radar effect went off and it was annoying.

I could use tab to avoid this but also if I grab scroll bar I get the effect so it wouldn't solve the problem entirely.

I tried a callout action but you can only do the magnify or add a circle around the area to highlight it.

I actually like the radar effect.

Is there a way to set which mouse clicks should receive this effect.

If not there should be.

I guess I don't really understand why the mouse clicks setting is not just a part of the callout actions. Does anyone really want every mouse click to be highlighted?

Gaussian blur effect for video clips and images

For the purposes of focusing the viewer's attention on overlaid titling or overlaid transparent images, it would be cool to be able to darken and gaussian blur any part of a video clip or image on the timeline. (the idea is to have the darkening/blurring options available from the Callout menu ... but without having to create a callout.) What would be ideal is if the blur effect was a separate track on the timeline that would blur all layers beneath it. But that seems like it might be challenging.

The standard way I want to use screenflow is to record all of my public presentations. But the usual way I need to make a presentation (e.g., giving a keynote at a conference) is to be introduced, and then begin. I don't have the opportunity to switch out of my presentation to launch screenflow and then switch back, and sometimes don't have the chance to set up the machine with the projector before beginning.

There should be a way to (1) have screenflow initiate the record upon the initiation of a Keynote presentation, and (2) specify the settings (e.g., which screen to record) even if the machine is not connected to a projector at that moment (e.g., an ability to say "record from external VGA" even if the VGA isn't then connected, understanding that if the recording starts and no VGA is connected, it won't work).

Basic text/titling capability

Having a simple text engine with the same support for x-y-z rotation + scale would be handy. Wouldn't need to be anything so fancy - think iMovies or simpler, using system fonts. Just enough to get callouts and simple titles done in-situ.

Crazy idea, I know, and I don't care for the garbagey gimmicky variety, but it stretches the word "studio" if you don't have support for cross dissolves (beyond hacking it with two layers and farting about with opacity actions)

Ability to save output presets

Since the beginning I've found it a real pain to have to go into the custom settings *every* *single* *time* I want to use a custom output setting. I'd like to save my output settings and have them added as a dropdown option (or better, set to default), that works even when I start a new project.

Having to set this per-project when you're working on a hundred videos is torture, and the workaround of having all of your screencasts in a single project isn't feasible with the single, untabbed timeline and less than robust organizational side of 'flow

Clearly the UI of the Click Effect is designed to allow for more than one option there. Would be great if there were more options and, perhaps, settings for the options (how big of an effect, how fast, etc.)
