We solved this by building a "submit only" mode for IdeaScale communities.

Tested again, and it now works. Don't know if you fixed something or the problem just went away, but this is no longer an issue for me.

Actually lots of agencies in the federal government use IdeaScale (such as the FCC, White House, DOL, etc). Its also free for all government agencies. More info here: http://ideascale.com/opengov

You should be able to set this up under Settings -> Email Preferences. From there, you can instruct IdeaScale to send you an email when a new user signs up, etc.

This does not affect current customers that have an existing relationship with us. This is merely an update to our messaging for new customers (we are rolling out more help files and marketing text around this as well).
